Relays

On your marks, get set, GO. My Team began sprinting faster than the speed of light! Everyone was so close together it was hard to tell who was coming first. Skidding round the cone and zooming back to us, a split second later they’d passed us and then skidded round the cone behind us. The next person slowly started to jog forwards then the batten came down in their hand and they started to power off as fast as they could.


It was the relays. It was hilarious seeing the kids faces as they were trying their hardest to go fast.


Then It was my turn I grabbed the batten and bolted away like lightning. Each step my foot smashed against the ground; as I got faster each step. The wind blew through my hair as I ran. I slowed down as I went round the corner, then I picked my pace back up on the straight piece of grass; passed my team and then I began to slow down again because of another corner. My hand came shooting down on the next kids hand out and then boom he sprinted off.


Luckily we didn’t drop the batten back we were close to though, the last kid stumbled to take the batten

Futsal tournament

The Futsal tournament was a fun tournament, it was five a side  one of those players was a goalie. On my team there was two attacks two defenders which is four and one goalie.
We had seven players in our team.

We played teams from from other schools, we won two games we had a buy and we lost the last game, there was only four games in the tournament.

Futsal is like soccer but it’s in indoors unlike soccer.
I played defense and I saved lots of goals for the goalie, when ever I came back on goalie was relieved that I was back on; so I could help save some goals.

Afterwards I was sweating like crazy, every part of my body sweating.

Mastermind Final

We just have our final for master mind if was very close. They had to vs 5 other kids and beat them all to win.

For one bit I went out with the contestants, they were all very nervous.They didn’t get to choose their special subject for getting tested on in the final, so that made them even more nervous; we tested them on Lava general knowledge.By the way Lava’s our class name.

At the end of the contest I and the organisers all knew who won but the contestants didn’t, we knew they wanted the answer; so we dragged it out even longer. After a while we announced the winner, that kid was so happy it looked like he was about to cry.   :]

Family Coat of Arms

Down the bottom I Have put a plane because our family likes to travel, and we travel a lot.

Left I have put some clogs because my grandad is from holland, and they used to wear clogs for shoes.

Right there are some people together, I put that there because that shows our family; together.

Top I have put a kiwi with a flag of new zealand, I did that because I am from new zealand and the kiwi is the native animal to new zealand.

At the Very Very bottom I wrote Rayner because my family name is Rayner.

At the Very Very top I wrote family first because that is our family motto.      

Master Mind

My friends and I have got together and made our own Master Mind, for those who don't know what master mind is, well master mind is a TV program when the host asks contestants questions about their special subject. They pick their own special subject(what they know lots about).This is my friends and I Master Mind trailer 

           Energy Saving Kahoot

House for a finger monkey 

on first day of term 3 we had to make a home for an animal. We had to build a home for an animal because animals homes are getting destroyed because of deforestation and pollution.  My group choose a finger monkey, because it's very small, so we thought it would be easier to build the shelter for a small animal like a finger monkey. First we made a plan for our shelter. Our plan was almost exactly the same as the finished product.

When we started building we found out it wasn't easier doing a small animal. We could only get three things to use. So our group choose a pallet of wood, a cardboard box and a garbage bag. I started ripping away wood planks. At first I found it really hard and i didn't know what to do,then our teacher came along and helped me out. He show me how to do it, and then I tried and I ripped a plank off.

The rest of my group started working on the box. The next day we had everything ready. We just needed to put all our equipment together, and we did just in time before our teacher Mr V shouted out “ Tools down,” just like on the block.
